Who we are

With a history of careful craftsmanship and a portfolio of many successful projects, G.R. Burgess is dedicated to delivering residential products that will provide aesthetic enjoyment and practical durability for years to come.

Our goal is to first understand our customers needs, wants, and long term goals regarding their homes, then design and build products that will meet those needs in the most practical, efficient, and enjoyable ways possible.

We prefer to work in unoccupied homes, and do as much of the work as possible in house in order to maintain a safe and efficient work environment, and minimize variability in scheduling and budgeting.

After 5 years in Wendell, Idaho, from 1983 to 1988, and 35 years in Kirkland, Washington, from 1988 to 2023, we have relocated to Polson, Montana and are offering our services in the area. At this time, and since our primary source of income lies in managing, improving, and maintaining the rental properties we own, we are looking for modestly sized projects in the mid five figure to low six figure range that we can complete within a few months time.

Honest, prompt, and accurate communication, in addition to maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with our customers is a high priority for us, and we have had many customers over the years with whom we have done multiple projects for over a period of time.
