This is a new luxury home that was built from the ground up to a significant extent by our own craftsmen. Some of the more interesting details include over 6 miles of custom milled vertical grain hemlock bead board for the exterior soffits, stainless steel hidden gutters with site built copper details around all the exterior woodwork, 72 piece exterior wood columns and 40,000 board feet of quartered and rift sawn white oak for cabinetry and millwork details.  Each leg of vertical window casing in the main rooms consists of 14 individual pieces of wood and the entryway ceiling was approximately 2500 individual pieces installed.  Some of the crown molding details were made up of 22 horizontal pieces.  The ceiling beams and trusses are solid wood with mortise and tendon construction.  All together there are tens of thousands of individually cut and fit millwork pieces in the home.  Credit goes to Joe Madden of Madden Millworks for the millwork design and manufacture, to Steve Hatfield for the site built custom cabinetry and to Chris Hatfield for endless miles of sanding, painting, and staining.
